Laurent Désaubry

Laurent Dèsaubry is interested in medicinal chemistry of anticancer natural products, design and synthesis of drugs for regenerative medicine, preparation of chemical tools for cell biology studies, development of new strategies, and reactions in organic synthesis. In 1992, he received a Ph.D. degree in medicinal chemistry from the University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France; from 1992 to 1996, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at SUNY at Stony Brook, USA; 1997–1998, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the IGBMC, Illkirch, France; 1998–2004, a CNRS Research Senior Scientist (CR1) at Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg. Since 2005, he has been serving as a CNRS Senior Scientist (CR1) in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Strasbourg at Illkirch.
