Chong Lin

Chong Lin received the B.S. and the M.S. degrees in applied mathematics from the Northeastern University, China, in 1989 and 1992, respectively, and the Ph.D. in electrical and electronic engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 1999. Lin was a Research Associate with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong, in 1999. During 2000–2006, he was a Research Fellow with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore. Since 2006, he has been a Professor with the Institute of Complexity Science, Qingdao University, China. His research interests are mainly in systems analysis and control, robust control, and fuzzy control. He has published over 90 journal and conference papers and 2 books. Lin is a Senior Member of IEEE, and he serves as an Associate Editor for International Journal of Systems Science and Journal of The Franklin Institute.
