Maria Jose Campagnole-Santos
Maria Jose Campagnole-Santos, Ph.D., works as a Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Brazil. She was elected as a Chair of the Graduate Program in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Pharmacology for 7 years. She did her postdoctoral work at the Department of Brain and Vascular Research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA. Her main area of research is cardiovascular physiology, primarily addressing the following subjects: neural regulation of blood pressure, hypertension, renin-angiotensin system, and the angiotensinergic control of the baroreflex.
