Atsushi Ohtaka

Atsushi Ohtaka received a Ph.D. degree from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 2003 under the direction of Professor Hideo Kurosawa. He then worked for two years as a Postdoc Research Fellow at National Cardiovascular Center and for a year at Institute for Molecular Science under the direction of Professor Yasuhiro Uozumi. He became an Assistant Professor in 2006 and an Associate Professor in 2013 at Osaka Institute of Technology where he won an Award for Encouragement of Research in Materials Science in 2008. His current research interests include transition metal nanoparticles catalyst and catalytic reaction in water.
