David N. Cheban

David N. Cheban was born in v.Cioc-Maidan, Republic of Moldova (former Soviet Union), in 1952. He was a student at the Department of Mathematics and Cibernetics at State University of Moldova from 1969 to 1974 and received a Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Belarusian State University, Minsk, Republic of Belarus (1978) and a D.S. degree in mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics of Belarusian Academy of Sciences, Minsk, Republic of Belarus (1991). Since 1977, he has worked at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the State University of Moldova (Assistant Professor (1977–1982), Associate Professor (1982–1992), Full Professor (since 1992)). His main interests are in nonautonomous dynamical systems and their applications. He is the author of about 140 publications, including five monographs.
