Hongkee Sah is Professor in pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, Ewha Womans University. In 1994, he received a Ph.D. degree from Rutgers University—the State University of New Jersey, USA. Right after graduation, he started working as Senior Research Pharmacist at Pharmaceutical R&D Center, the Merck & Co., Inc., Penn, USA. He also was a Faculty Member of Temple University School of Pharmacy and University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. During this period, he received several awards including New Investigator Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, Faculty Development Grant Award from the Parenteral Drug Association, and Fred Simon Award for Best Paper. In the year of 2000, he returned to Korea. His research competence is related to the areas of formulation and quality evaluation of pharmaceutical dosage forms, development of drug delivery systems, and regulatory sciences.
