Juan Deaton

Juan Deaton, a BSEE graduate from University of Idaho, USA, is currently employed at the Idaho National Lab's, Next Generation Wireless Test Bed as a Cellular Systems Engineer. In his current assignment at the INL, Juan is analyzing options for emergency wireless communications using an airborne node. Before working at the INL, Juan worked for Motorola's CDMA Cellular infrastructure group where he developed, planned, and executed beta tests in commercial markets for new infrastructure equipment. His projects of interest include beta testing vocoding processing unit for Alltel Wireless, USA, mobility management platform for Vivo, Brazil, and VoIP using EVDO for Verizon Wireless, USA. His other research interests include VoIP vulnerability research, m-commerce and next generation emergency response applications.
