Reza Zadmard
Reza Zadmard studied chemistry at the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran (1987–1995), where he received his M.S. degree in chemistry and was later employed at the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran, Tehran, Iran (1995–2000). For his doctoral studies, he was on leave and joined the Schrader team at Marburg to develop self-assembled ionic molecular capsules in water (2000–2003). During his subsequent postdoctorate degree, he discovered the remarkable affinity of cationic dimeric calixarenes towards nucleic acids. He is currently working as a Group Leader for CCERCI.
