Wolfgang Faber has been serving as a Reader at the University of Huddersfield, UK, since September 2013. He holds a Ph.D. degree. He is also on leave as an Associate Professor at the University of Calabria, Italy, and serves as an Affiliated Lecturer at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria, where he also held the position of an Assistant Professor and Research Assistant from 1998 to 2006. His current research interests are in knowledge representation, logic programming, nonmonotonic reasoning, planning, and knowledge-based agents. He has published more than 100 refereed articles in several major journals, collections, and conference proceedings in these areas. He has served as a Chair for several workshops and conferences and has been serving on the program committees of many of the major conferences of his research areas, and he serves as a reviewer for many journals and conferences on artificial intelligence.
