Philippe Trens

Philippe Trens received his Ph.D. degree in materials sciences from the Université of Provence, Marseilles, France, in 1994. After a three-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Reading (UK) in the group of Dr. M. J. Hudson, he became a Lecturer in 1999 at the National Graduate School of Chemistry of Montpellier, France. He received a Habilitation degree in 2005. He is currently a Professor since 2006, in the Advanced Materials for Catalysis and Health group at the Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier. His research interests include the development and applications of advanced experimental techniques to study the thermodynamics at the vapor/solid interfaces. He is the author of more than 60 peer-reviewed papers.
