Michele Midrio

Michele Midrio received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Padova, Italy, in 1991 and 1994, respectively, in electronics and telecommunication engineering. After spending three years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni in Rome, he became a Professor of Electromagnetics at the University of Udine, Italy. His research interests have been soliton propagation in optical fibers, fiber lasers, and integrated optics and antennas, both at radio frequencies and in optics. He has authored or coauthored about 150 among journal and conference papers.
