Ana Paula Lepique

Ana Paula Lepique obtained her B.S. degree in biology from the University of Sao Paulo, Sao Paolo, Brazil, in 1992. Her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology were obtained also from the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Chemistry, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Lepique was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, Sao Paulo, Brazil, from 2000 to 2001, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA, from 2001 to 2003. In 2004, Dr. Lepique started working at the Fundacao Antonio Prudente, Sao Paulo, Brazil, as a Senior Research Scientist. In this institution, she started working in a model of cellular immune responses against human papilomavirus-associated tumors. This line of research continued as she moved to the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in 2006. Currently, Dr. Lepique is a Professor at the Department of Immunology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
