Patrick Fievet was born in 1964. He is a Full Professor at the University of Franche-Comté and the Head of the Nanoparticles, Contaminants, and Membranes team at the UTINAM Institute (UMR CNRS 6213). He received his postgraduate degree (D.E.A. degree) in materials science from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France, Ph.D. degree in materials science from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, France, in 1992, and Habilitation degree from the University of Franche-Comté, France, in 2000. His areas of expertise include transport modeling through NF and RO membranes, electrokinetic characterization of membranes, and physical-chemistry of interfaces. Moreover, his publications include 72 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and 8 book chapters. He is a Member of the Editorial Board of the international peer-reviewed journal Membrane Water Treatment. He has been in charge, with A.
