Hiroyuki Hioki holds M.D. and Ph.D. degrees. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Morphological Brain Science, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. His areas of expertise include neuroanatomy (neuronal circuits in the CNS) and molecular techniques (viral vectors, transgenic animals, etc.).
