Dimitra Kaklamani received her Diploma and Ph.D. degree from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece in 1987 and 1992, respectively. She works now as a Full Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NTUA. Professor Kaklamani has over 250 journal and conference publications in the fields of software development for information transmission systems modeling, microwave networks, and mobile and satellite communications. She has coordinated the ICCS and NTUA activities in the framework of several European Union and national projects in the same areas and has been national representative for EU/COST actions in electromagnetic compatibility and smart antennas. She serves as a Reviewer for the Hellenic General Secretariat for Research and Technology and for the Israel Science Foundation. She is the Editor of the international book Applied Computational Electromagnetics, State of the Art and Future Trends, and, since 2002, she is a distinguished Member of the Electromagnetics Academy. Dr. Kaklamani is a Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
