Carmen Coll

Carmen Coll is currently Full Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Engineering School in the Polytechnic University of Valencia and she is a member of the Applied Mathematic Institute, IMM, of the same University. Long--time member of ILAS and the Spanish Society of Applied Mathematics (SeMA) Professor Coll carries out research on control theory and mathematical modeling, particularly interested in topics related to nonnegative matrices, multidimensional systems theory, positive systems and analysis and control design. Her fields of interest include the area of applied mathematics, systems theory, especially singular multidimensional systems and positive multidimensional systems, mathematical modeling and identification. Her research is currently focused on the applications of mathematical modeling in medicine and biomedical. She has been involved in the Organizing Committees and in the Program Committees of several Conferences. She has participated in the development of several research projects. She is author/co-author of some books and of several papers appeared on international journals, conference papers.
