Thiago R. L. C. Paixão
Thiago R. L. C. Paixão graduated in chemistry at the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo, Brazil, in 2001. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the same University in analytical chemistry in 2007. He served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of São Paulo under supervision of Professor M. Bertotti (2007-2009). In 2009, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Natural and Human Sciences Center, University of ABC at Santo André, Brazil. Actually, he is moving to Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo, where he was appointed as an Assistant Professor. Since 2009, his research interests are related to chemical sensors, electronic tongues, and chemometrics applied to analytical chemistry. His analytical applications focus on fuel analysis, environmentally relevant matrices, and food analysis.
