Jianlong Chen

Jianlong Chen was born in Jiangsu, China, in 1963. He received a M.S. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1987, and a Ph.D. degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, Heilongjiang, China, in 2002. Then he had the postdoctoral degree at the Nanjing University, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, from 2002 to 2004. Chen has been a Professor at the Southeast University, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, since 1993, He was a dean of the Department of Mathematics at the Southeast University, Nanjing, Jiangsu, China, from 2000 to 2009. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Calif, Oakland, Calif, US, and at the University of Berkeley, Berkeley, Calif, US, since 2010. Chen is mainly interested in ring theory, module theory, homological algebra and generalized inverse.
