Kai Yang

Kai Yang received the B.E. degree in electronic
information engineering from the
Radio Department of Southeast University,
Nanjing, China, in 2000, and the M.S. degree
from the Singapore-MIT Alliance, National
University of Singapore, in 2002. He
was a Visiting Student at Massachusetts Institute
of Technology, Cambridge, USA, in
the summer of 2001. From 2002 to 2004,
he was an Associate Scientist in The Centre
for Remote Imaging, Sensing and Processing (CRISP) at the National
University of Singapore, conducting research in computer vision
and pattern recognition. His general research interest falls into
the areas of signal processing, wireless communication, networking,
optimization, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He
is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in the Electrical Engineering
Department, Columbia University in the City of New York.
