Federico Marini

Federico Marini was born in Rome on March 9, 1977. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees at the Sapienza University of Rome (Rome, Italy). Since November 2008, he has been a Researcher and Professor of chemometrics at the same university. He was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and Marie Curie Fellow at the National Institute of Chemistry (Ljubljana, Slovenia). In 2001, he was awarded the Degree Prize by the Analytical Division of the Italian Chemical Society for the best M.S. degree thesis in analytical chemistry, while in 2006 he received the Young Researcher Award by the same institution for the best research activity in analytical chemistry by an under 30. He is a Member of the Editorial Boards of Chemometrics and Intelligent Laboratory Systems and of Analytica Chimica Acta. He is the author of about 40 papers in international journals, 4 book chapters, and more than 80 communications to international or national conferences.
