Woo-su Kim received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Inha University, Incheon, Korea, in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic communication from the same university, in 1998 and 2010, respectively. His Ph.D. research was on miniaturization and bandwidth enhancement of mobile handset antenna using magnetodielectric (MD) material. Since 2001, he has worked at the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology (KEIT) as a Senior Researcher. From 2011 to 2012, Kim has served at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Research Scholar. His research interests include electrically small antenna, MIMO antenna, and wideband antenna for wireless and mobile systems.
