Muhammad Abbas completed his B.S. and M.S. degrees at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, in the years 2001 and 2003, respectively. He started his career as a lecturer at University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Pakistan, in 2005 and taught a variety of courses of applied and pure mathematics at under graduate and graduate level. In 2012, he completed his doctorate degree in computer graphics at School of Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, 11800 Penang, Malaysia. His research interest is shape-preserving scientific data visualization. He has published many papers at international conferences and peer-reviewed journals in his area of research. He has special concerns in computer-aided geometric design, computer graphics, and shape-preserving scattered data visualization.
