Jérémie Soulestin

Jérémie Soulestin is a Professor at Mines Douai (top-level engineering college, Member of Mines-Télécom Institute, France). He received a Ph.D. degree in polymer science (2004) from University of Lille (France) in the field of processing and plastic behavior of polymer nanocomposites. He was a Postdoc for one year at the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) working on polymer composites based on renewable resources. He joined the Polymers and Composites Technology and Mechanical Engineering (TPCIM) Department of Mines de Douai (France) in 2006. His current research topics focus on processing and thermomechanical characterization of polymer based on renewable resources (starch, lignin, PLA ...) and polymer nanocomposites and composites. He supervised a number of Ph.D. students and Postdoc Fellows. He also participated as a partner in several national and European industrial projects. He is author of over 70 journal or conference publications and book chapters.
