Jun Bi

Jun Bi received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His dissertation studied Internet routing protocols and high performance routers and won the best dissertation award. Currently he is a Full Professor and Director of Network Architecture and IPv6 Research Laboratory, Network Research Center of Tsinghua University and Network Center of China Education and Research Network (CERNET). From 1999 to 2000, he was a postdoctoral scholar of High Speed Network Department in Bell Laboratories Research, Lucent Technologies, New Jersey, USA. From 2000 to 2003, he was a Research Scientist of Bell Labs Research Communication Science Division and Bell Labs Advanced Communication Technologies Center. His research interests include Internet architecture and protocols, next generation network architecture and IPv6 protocols, high performance routers/switches, network security, and so on. He had successfully led more than 10 government supported or international collaboration research projects, published more than 60 research papers, filed 11 innovation patents, and received national science and technology achievement awards.
He serves as the member of editorial board of several international journals and chair or member of technical program committee of international conferences.
