Bao Qin Li received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, Md, USA, in 1993, and he is currently the Chairperson and a Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Florida International University, Miami, USA. His research interests lie in complex variables and related topics in harmonic analysis, partial differential equations, and number theory.
