Mau-Roung Lin

Mau-Roung Lin was born in Taipei, Taiwan. He received the Ph.D. degree in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA, in 1997. In 1997, Mau-Roung Lin was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Taiwan University, Taipei City, Taiwan. From 1998 to 2000, he served as an Assistant Professor at China Medical University, Taichung, Taiwan. Since 2000, Mau-Roung Lin went to the Institute of Injury Prevention and Control, Taipei Medical University (TMU), Taiwan. Presently, he currently is a Professor. His research specialization is in elderly injuries, motorcycle injuries, quality of life assessment, and traumatic brain injuries. In 2003 and 2007, he was a recipient of Best Paper Award in TMU. In 2010, he was a recipient of Excellent Paper Award from the Injury Prevention and Disaster Medicine Research Foundation. Moreover, in 2010 and 2011, he was the prizeman of the Most Influential Paper Award in TMU. Since 2011, Mau-Roung Lin is Chairman of Institute of Injury Prevention and Control, TMU, Taiwan. Besides, He is the Supervisor of Taiwanese Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion Association, Taiwan since 2010.
