Thadeu Penna

Thadeu Penna was born in Niteroi, Brazil, in 1964. He received his Ph.D. degree in physics at Universidade Federal Fluminense, in 1989. He spent one and half year at the Center for Polymer Studies at Boston University, from 1997 to 1999. From 1986 up to 2010, he was at the Physics Department of the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niteroi. Recently, he moved to Exact Sciences Institute of the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Volta Redonda, Brazil. His current interests include computer simulation in computational physics, theoretical biology (population dynamics and aging), science of networks, and other complex systems. He is a Member of the Brazilian Physics Society.
