Adrian W. Midgley

Adrian W. Midgley is a Lecturer in sport and exercise physiology and a Chairman of the Department of Sport, Health, and Exercise Science, Faculty of Science Ethics Committees at the University of Hull, Cottingham, UK, where he obtained his Ph.D. degree in exercise physiology. His current research interests are mainly focused on the methodological aspects of cardiopulmonary exercise testing and exercise tolerance during laboratory-based exercise testing. Midgley has a keen interest in applied statistics, particularly in the use of modern statistical methods, such as linear mixed effects models and spline models, for the analysis of repeated measures data.
