Dimitris G. Kaskaoutis
Dimitris G. Kaskaoutis received his B.S. degree in physics from the University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 2000, and an M.S. degree in meteorology physics of environment from the same university in 2002. In 2008, he was awarded his Ph.D. degree from the University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece. From 2003 to 2010, he served as a Collaborative Research Scientist at the National Observatory of Athens (NOA). During 2011, Kaskaoutis was a Research Faculty Member at the Sharda University, Greater Noida, India, and since January 2013 he has been an Assistant Professor at Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida, India. His research topics include atmospheric physics and, more specifically, aerosol and solar spectral radiation studies as well as solar radiative transfer models, remote sensing, meteorology, pollution, and climate change in the view of the aerosol and pollutant effects. Kaskaoutis has up to 60 publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and was a speaker at many national and international conferences as well as invited scientist speaker in several universities in India and abroad.
