Chuah Lee siang

Chuah Lee Siang, Ph.D., received B.S. degree in applied physics (1st Class Honors) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Malaysia, in 2005. She completed her Ph.D. degree in solid state physics (majoring in semiconductor studies) at USM in 2009. Her Ph.D. dissertation topic was “PA-MBE GaN-based optoelectronics on silicon substrates.” Currently, she is a Lecturer attached to the Physics Section, School of Distance Education, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her fields of specialization include fabrication and characterization of optoelectronic devices based on III-nitrides, II-VIII (GaN, ZnO, and related alloys), and other semiconductor materials. In these areas, she has published and presented 50 research papers in international and national journals.
