Yuanyuan Duan

Dr. Yuanyuan Duan is a Professor of Thermal Engineering at Tsinghua University. Dr. Yuanyuan Duan got his Bachelor degree in Tsinghua University in 1994, and obtained his Ph.D. degree focusing on thermophysical properties of environmental-friendly working fluids in Tsinghua University in 1998. Dr. Duan has been the faculty member of the Department of Thermal Engineering in Tsinghua University since 1998, and he was promoted as a full professor in 2003. Dr. Duan is also the Director of Academic Affairs Office, taking charge of the undergraduate education of Tsinghua University. Dr. Duan’s research interests are in thermophysical properties and transport process in multiscale & multiphase energy systems, which including thermodynamic and transport properties of working fluids, vapor liquid equilibrium of mixtures, wetting dynamics, evaporation and radiation processes. Dr. Duan has published 200+ journal and conference papers in which 90+ papers were published in peer reviewed international journals. Dr. Duan obtained the rewards of Author of National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of P.R. China in 2000, and received the National Technical Invention Award in 2001. Dr. Duan was also the Recipient of National Fund for Outstanding Young Scholar in 2002. Dr. Duan as well got the honor of Excellent Teaching Achievements Award and Advisor for Excellent Ph.D. Dissertation of Tsinghua University in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012. Dr. Duan is the fellow of Chinese Association of Engineering Thermophysics, the member of Chinese Association of Metrology, the fellow of Beijing Association of Energy and Engineering Thermophysics, and Editorial Council member of Journal of Engineering Thermophysics.
