Barry Mitchell

I am Emeritus Professor of Healthcare Sciences at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, where I was until recently Dean of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Prior to that I was Head of the School of Allied Health Sciences at the same institution. The major part of my career has been spent in teaching and researching in human anatomy, where I have held appointments in the medical schools of Southampton University, UK and at St George's, University of London. My research interests spanned from reproductive biology, to the autonomic nervous system, then metastasis formation, and most recently into topographical and educational aspects of human anatomy.
