Giuseppe Stinco was born in Gorizia, Italy. He is a Researcher in dermatology at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Pathology and Medicine at the Institute of Dermatology of the University of Udine. He received his M.D. degree and the board certificate for dermatology and venereology from the University of Trieste, Trieste, Italy, in 1989 and 1993, respectively. In 1995, he worked as a clinical dermatologist at the Department of Dermatology of Palmanova Hospital. Since 1996, he has worked at the Institute of Dermatology of the University of Udine. From 1998 to 2005, he has been responsible for allergic, enviromental, and professional dermatosis and then for the operative structure of dermatolocic surgery. His teaching activities have been developed at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Udine School of Medicine. He holds several memberships including the Italian Society of Dermatology (SiDeMaST), the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, the Italian Group for the Study of Lyme Disease, and the Italian Society of Plastic Dermatology. He has served for a long time as a peer reviewer for numerous journals. He has participated or has been invited as a speaker and/or the chairman in national and international conferences and congresses. As an author or coauthor, he published more than 200 articles on national and international scientific journals or books. His major areas of research include cutaneous microcirculation, chronic inflammatory skin conditions, treatment of cutaneous diseases, and the practical application of treatment modalities.
