Ali Hussain Reshak

Ali Hussain Reshak is a Professor at the South Bohemia University and Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic. He received his Ph.D. degree (with honors) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR) in 2005 with the advice of Professor S. Auluck, and he obtained his M.S. degree on designing and construction of laser systems from Basra University, Iraq, in 1990. He was an Associate Professor at Basra University until 2000; then he worked as a Research Fellow at IITR-India until 2005, then at the University of South Bohemia and Academy of Sciences. He is a referee for many scientific journals. He has advised more than a dozen of students. His name has been included in the Marquis Who’s Who in Sciences and Engineering. He is an Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Materials Science and Simulation. His recent research is on theoretical and experimental studies of the condensed matter physics, electronic structural, linear, and nonlinear optical properties, laser design, laser applications, laser scanning microscopes, other optical microscopes, and second harmonic generation.
