Wen Hu serves as a Senior Research Scientist at CSIRO ICT Center, Australia, where he leads a talented research team, consisting of 5 postdoctoral researchers, 8 Ph.D. students, as well as over 10 thesis students and interns, working in pervasive information systems at the Autonomous Systems Laboratory. His current research interests include wireless sensor network protocols and applications, compressive sensing, and network security. He has published two international patents and more than 50 refereed articles in high-quality journals and conferences. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2006. He is a Visiting Fellow at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW, as well as a Member of IEEE and ACM.
