Eisuke Hanada received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985 and 1987, respectively. Hanada obtained a Dr. Eng. degree from Saga University, Saga, Japan, in 2001. In 1992, Hanada had worked at Nagasaki University Information Science Center, Nagasaki, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan for 4 years managing the campus LAN and information servers, and at the Department of Medical Information Science, Kyushu University Graduate School of Medical Science ,Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan. Since 2002, Hanada has been working at the Division of Medical Informatics, Shimane University Hospital, Japan. His research involves the wired/radio communication systems, electromagnetic environment in medical/healthcare scenes, systems for telemedicine, and information processing systems in hospitals.
