Ralph Hudson

Ralph E. Hudson received his B.S. degree
in electrical engineering from the University
of California at Berkeley in 1960 and the
Ph.D. degree from the US Naval Postgraduate
School, Monterey, Calif, in 1969. In the
US Navy, he attained the rank of Lieutenant
Commander and served with the Office of
Naval Research and the Naval Air Systems
Command. From 1973 to 1993, he was with
Hughes Aircraft Company, and since then
he has been a Research Associate in the Electrical Engineering Department
at the University of California at Los Angeles. His research
interests include signal and acoustic and seismic array processing,
wireless radio, and radar systems. He received the Legion
of Merit and Air Medal, and the Hyland Patent Award in 1992.
