Shuang Wang is an Associate Professor in mechanical engineering. He received a Ph.D. and an M.S. degrees both in mechanical manufacture and automation from Sichuan University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, in 2008 and 2000, respectively, and a B.S. degree from Sichuan Institute of Technology in machinery manufacturing and process in 1995. Wang’s research interest is in the area of computer-aided design and computer-aided engineering. He was a Research Scholar at CAVS in Mississippi State University, USA. His work focuses on knowledge discovery, innovative product design, and 3D phase field simulation of dendritic crystal growth. The followings are among his selected Publications: (1) S. Wang, M.
