Guobing Zhou

Guobing Zhou received his Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 2005, and then had two years of Postdoctoral Research at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. Then, he joined North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China (2007-present). Now, he is a professor at the School of Energy, Power and Mechanical Engineering at North China Electric Power University. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. His present research interests mainly focus on solar thermal storage, particularly by phase change materials, in buildings; fluid flow and heat transfer in HVAC and R system and equipment; and simulation in energy efficient buildings.
