Miriam Castro

Miriam Castro was born in Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 1965. She received the Chemical Engineering degree and the Ph.D. degree from the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, Argentina, in 1988 and 1993, respectively. Presently, she is a Professor at the Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata and a Researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET). Her principal research activity deals with the development of electroceramic materials. She has experience in the synthesis and characterization of gas sensors, varistors, capacitors, and piezoelectric devices.
