Tim Beaumont

Tim Beaumont studied for his Ph.D. degree at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands before postdocing at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology in San Francisco, CA, USA. He joined the startup company AIMM Therapeutics at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands at the Academic Medical Center, based in The Netherlands, in 2004 where he developed a human B-cell culture system that could be used for functional screenings against infectious disease targets and currently focuses on the interactions of the immune system with pathogens and their applications towards developing antibodies that can intervene in human diseases.
