María Sol Arias Vázquez

María Sol Arias-Vázquez is Scientist under the Postdoc Parga Pondal Program, Xunta de Galicia, Spain. She received her veterinary degree and her Ph.D. degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Santiago de Compostela, Spain. She is Professor of parasitic diseases at the Faculty of Veterinary, USC. Dr. Arias-Vázquez has developed postdoc scientific stays in Italy (Torino), Portugal (Lisbon), and USA (Kentucky). She is one of the leading research experts at the USC for the application of biotechnology to the diagnostics of parasitic diseases affecting livestock, as well as zoonotic disorders.
