Stelian Lupu is an Associate Professor of analytical chemistry at the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis, the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, the University Politehnica of Bucharest. He has obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2001 from the University of Bucharest and the Habilitation a Diriger des Recherches (HDR) degree in 2012 from the University of Besancon, France. His general research interests include chemically modified electrodes, ultramicroelectrodes, electrochemical sensors and biosensors, conducting polymers, and electroanalysis of biologically active compounds and organic pollutants. He has published over 45 research papers to date.
