Hans-Jörg Bart

Hans-Jörg Bart is a Full Professor of the Chair Thermische Verfahrenstechnik (process engineering) since 1994. The main research is with the reactive separations, for example, extraction (reactive extraction, two-phase-flow, etc.) and chromatography. Professor Bart is a Senior Fellow of the Christian-Doppler-Society, Vienna, and Honorary Professor of the Kumning University, China, and a member of the board of directors of Process Engineering and Technology Network of Competence - Pro3. He is an appointed board member of the International Committee of Solvent Extraction, a permanent board member of EFCE Working Party “Distillation, Absorption and Extraction” and he is an appointed board member of GVC/Dechema ProcessNet working parties “Fluidverfahrenstechnik”, “Phytoextraktion”, “Adsorption” (Deputy Chairman) and “Extraktion” (Chairman). The latter presents an interdisciplinary platform for research and development in the extraction sector, which are then made available to smaller and medium industrial companies.
