Kimberly K. Leslie, M.D. degree, is a Professor and Head at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, Iowa, USA. She is the PI of the Gynecologic Oncology Group Core Laboratory for Receptors, as well as her own independent laboratory, the Reproductive Molecular Biology Laboratory. She is a Member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group Committee for Experimental Medicine and the Corpus Committee. Leslie has served as a regular Member of the ICER NIH Study Section, and is currently an SPORE grant Reviewer and Cancer Center site visitor for the National Cancer Institute as well as a Reviewer for the TPM Study Section. Leslie has had independent NIH funding and her own laboratories since 1992, where she has trained many young investigators and collaborated extensively with clinical, translational, and basic scientists. She is experienced in using genomics and proteomics to answer questions in reproductive biology. She is known for her work in the field of steroid hormone and growth factor receptors in the endometrium, which has incorporated clinical trials as well as basic molecular studies. Leslie’s clinical practice includes prenatal diagnosis, targeted ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, and the care of women with medical complications of pregnancy.
