Dieter Horns

Dieter Horns received his Diploma and Ph.D. degree at the University of Hamburg in 1997 and 2000, respectively. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg until 2004. He continued as a Scientific Assistant at the University of Tuebingen until 2007. He is currently a Professor at the University of Hamburg. His main research interests are related to nonthermal processes in Galactic and extragalactic systems.
