Jerrold Petrofsky

Jerrold Petrofsky holds both PTA and Ph.D. degrees in neurophysiology from Saint Louis University. He has an AB in Biology and a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Washington University and a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering from Wright State University. He has honorary Ph.D. degrees from Pennsylvania State and the University of Humanistic Studies. He also has a J.D. degree from Western State University and is licensed as an Attorney in California. Professor Petrofsky was the former Director of the National Center for Rehabilitation Engineering and operated a Physical Therapy outpatient practice for 12 years. He is presently a Professor at Loma Linda University in Physical Therapy. His research interests are endothelial dysfunction, exercise, diabetes, gait and balance, and the physiology of nutrition and weight loss.
