Jessie Y. C. Chen
Jessie Y. C. Chen received her B.A. degree in linguistics from the National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan in 1987, her M.A. degree in communication studies from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 1989, and her Ph.D. degree in applied experimental and human factors psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2000. She is a research psychologist with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) and a Human Research and Engineering Directorate at the field element in Orlando, Florida. Her research interests include human-robot interaction, human-vehicle interaction, supervisory control, and individual differences. Dr. Chen is the recipient of the 2008 Army-Wide Modeling and Simulation Award for the category of Individual Experimentation based on her research on human-robot interaction in multitasking environments.
