Tamer Elbayoumi
Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Center of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine, after receiving Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Before joining the faculty at Midwestern University, held the position of Senior Formulation Research Scientist, R & D Cardiology Systems at Atrium Medical Corp., Hudson, NH, where he was responsible for development of drug eluting implants at various clinical phases. Aim to continue publishing various research papers, review articles and book chapters, mostly in the area of targeted nanocarrier delivery systems for therapeutics and imaging agents, with emphasis of the correct methodical approaches tio develop, assess, and produce effective nanotechnology-based carriers for therapeutic meities.
