Maria Hrmova

OVERVIEW - My research has been focused on carbohydrate-hydrolase, transferase, and synthase enzymes participating in the formation of cell surface structures. My interests are also centered on membrane transporters and transcription factors involved in abiotic stress tolerance. My projects address fundamental questions as to how these proteins mediate their biological functions.
